This post is full time and fixed term for 2 years.

A PDRA position in the area of biomolecular modelling is available under the supervision of Dr. Matteo Degiacomi, in Durham University, Chemistry department. The position is in the scope of the EPSRC-funded project entitled Software for Experimentally Driven Macromolecular Modelling, and is funded for two years. The work will revolve around the development and application of novel integrative modelling methodologies for the study of flexible protein monomers and the prediction of their multimeric arrangement.

The position is available from 01/11/2017, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Applicants should be self-motivated, have the capacity to undertake original research, will be expected to develop their own plans to carry through the proposed research and to contribute their own ideas into the research in the group. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is willingness and ability to acquire knowledge outside your own specialist area.
