The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and with over 500 staff, is one of the largest departments in the Medical Sciences Division. The NDPH aim is to reduce premature death and disability from human disease.

As IT Systems Administrator you will support staff and students by supplying, managing and maintaining computer systems. You will join two highly experienced staff providing support for the critical networking, storage and security areas of the unified NDPH and BDI networks, working alongside another dozen IT staff in our Services and Helpdesk teams.

To be considered for the role you will have a good understanding of IP addressing and subnets and/or experience in managing enterprise disk/storage and backup systems and/or experience in managing enterprise network switches, routers and firewalls. You will also be able to troubleshoot, resolve queries and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

The position is full-time (part-time considered) fixed-term for 3 years.
