The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £33,518 per annum, plus £2,923/per annum London Allowance.

This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 18 months

This is a Full-time position

The post holder will work, under the direction of the Principle Investigators, on the project ‘Solve the Unsolved - Experience based Co-Design (EBCD) of Genomic Sequencing Results’ Communication, funded by the European Union. Focusing on two European Reference Networks (ERN) for rare diseases. The project will bring together health professionals and families with shared interests in managing and treating rare conditions. The successful applicant will have research skills in non-participant observation of healthcare practice, filming and interviewing families and organising workshops with patients, families and health professionals to develop effective and acceptable models of communicating genome sequencing results, using experience based co-design. It is also desirable the candidate has knowledge of other countries healthcare systems and is able to evaluate new interventions integration in differing contexts and cultures. Ability to speak another European language is beneficial.

The selection process will include a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview.
