Vacancy: Operations Director

You will have responsibility for leading the delivery of student operations at Arden study-centre locations in the UK and internationally. Additionally, you will be responsible for the delivery of Degree Apprenticeships in the workplace. You will work closely with Senior Management peers to ensure that all academic and support services for students meet with regulatory requirements and deliver on the Arden brand promise.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive and joining the Senior Management Team, you will lead the delivery of operational excellence across existing study centre sites in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Berlin, whilst supporting the development and delivery of new blended learning delivery locations spanning further UK and International study centre sites and workplace locations.

Personal Profile

You will be an ambitious and highly credible operational leader with a passion for continuous improvement and a demonstrated capability for delivering operational excellence across complex and geographically dispersed matrix organisations. Whilst you have strategic vision and a long-range view, you are exceptionally strong at planning, prioritising and managing resources effectively to deliver rapid outcomes.

Your experience in driving process efficiencies and service improvements in collaboration with a range of cross-functional colleagues has given you an exceptional skill in managing a diverse mix of stakeholders including academic and frontline service colleagues. You have determination and commitment, taking personal responsibility for making sure problems are solved and using sound judgement and pragmatism in arriving at prompt decisions.

Crucially, you understand the central nature of people in successful change management have a collaborative, inclusive and communicative style that effectively navigates the sensitive nature of fast changing businesses working across a hub and spoke delivery model.
