Slaughterman

The University of Bristol’s Langford Abattoir is seeking to recruit an experienced full-time slaughterman and butcher. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a commercial abattoir and teaching environment.

Experience of working on manual lines with red-meat species is required and full WATOK Certificates of Competence for these species is highly desirable. Butchery and further processing experience advantageous to the role.

A fundamental commitment to high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice and Animal Welfare are essential.
