We are now seeking a new Director of Communications and Public Affairs who will help to tell our story to audiences in the Liverpool City Region, nationally and internationally, strengthening the University’s reputation and increasing our engagement with the world around us.

The successful candidate will develop and lead our communications and public affairs strategies, and provide inspirational leadership to a team responsible for media management, events, social media, student communications and internal communications, they will also use their strategic insight, skills and experience to build effective relationships with key individuals including journalists and policy makers to increase the impact and understanding of the University’s research and other activities.

First round interviews will be held on Friday 9 March 2018 with formal interviews held on Tuesday 13 March 2018. Applicants are advised to hold both dates in their diaries during the recruitment process.
